Accordions let you fold long stretches of content into neat, collapsible sections, so that visitors scan the headers first and open only what is relevant to them. They work especially well for FAQs, product specifications, pricing tables and step-by-step guides, where revealing everything at once would overwhelm the page and bury the very answers that people actually came looking for.
Each item pairs an always-visible header with a panel that slides open on click. In classic accordion mode only one panel stays open at a time, while toggle mode lets several stay open together. A small plus or triangle icon marks the current state, so the interaction always feels predictable.
